A very gentle grounding meditation.

Grounding is great way to recover balance, maintain a healthy perspective and increase inner stability. It often helps create self-confidence, reduces stress and allows for a better flow of thoughts and feelings.


Find a quiet place where you can remain undisturbed for about 5 minutes.

Begin by getting into a comfortable position – standing or sitting usually works best.

Close your eyes and take a normal, calm and un-exaggerated breath.

Next, take another slower but gentle and slightly deeper breath.

Finally, draw in one more full type breath filling your lungs and exhaling slowly to release the breath in a manner that feels focused but not tiring or labored. (Depending upon your mood and circumstances, you may wish to do this quickly or however most feels natural at the time)

Use your imagination to picture a pretty, soft white cloud located in front of you and slightly above to your right side. This is the essence – a small part of the clouds that exist in the heavens. Allow the cloud to float slowly, calmly down over and above your head. See the essence of this cloud gently descend until it touches the crown of your head and allow yourself to feel the calm and peace it signifies. Let this seep into your head - enveloping the space around and inside your brain with soft white light. Imagine the light soothing, cleansing, and replacing any negative thoughts, feelings or emotions –as the light moves within, it displaces all the past hurts, dramas, excitements or disturbing energy that may have been present in your mind. Imagine the cloud to gradually continue moving its way down your whole body and carrying with it all the negative energy until it reaches your feet then exits - melting down into the floor, removing all past negative thought, feelings and emotions.

Next, again use your imagination to picture a globe of white mist located in front of you and slightly above to your right side. This is known as the dew – a small part of the mists that exist in the heavens. Allow the globe to float slowly, calmly down over and above your head. See the mist in this globe gently descend until it touches the crown of your head and feel yourself allowing its soothing refreshment to seep into your head enveloping the space around and inside your brain with soft white mist. Imagine the mist soothing, cleansing, and replacing any negative thoughts, feelings or emotions –as the mist moves within it wipes away all the past faults, disappointments, losses and useless energy that may have been present in your mind. Imagine the globe to gradually continue moving its way down your whole body and carrying with it all the negative energy until it reaches your feet and exits disappearing down into the floor, removing all past negative thoughts, feelings and emotions.

Finally, imagine another ball of dense, white colored fog located in front of you and slightly above to your right side. We call this the veil – a small part of the foggy haze that exist in the heavens. Allow the ball to float slowly, calmly down over and above your head. See the fog gently descend until it touches the crown of your head and feel the welcoming, accepting, embrace of love drift down gently into your head enveloping the space around and inside your brain with luminescent fog. Notice the countess little twinkles that are swirling inside the warm fog. Imagine the fog soothing, cleansing, and replacing any negative thoughts, feelings or emotions –as the fogs moves within it wipes away all the past regrets, fears, failures or stale energy that may have been present in your mind. See the fog gradually continue moving its way down your whole body and carrying with it all the stale energy until it reaches your feet and exits disappearing down into the floor, removing all past negative thought, feelings and emotions.

Lastly, draw in one slow, careful and concentrated breath, and feel this breath being absorbed into the newly created fresh space – release the air with a push outward to free yourself from the meditation. Linger here and enjoy the inner beauty, contentment and well-being. Open your eyes when you feel ready. Now you are grounded.
